Genie from Pennsauken, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since June of 2025, and booked the roof and the array on the same day. The roof was finished on 31 July: two layers of old shingle stripped to the sheathing and hauled away, then 1,200 square feet of new composition shingle in charcoal with a 50-year warranty. The array followed four days later – 15 panels making 6.38 kW with Enphase IQ8 microinverters, and an estimated 6,675 kilowatt hours in the first year. PSEG interconnected it in August. On a roof this size the sequence matters more rather than less: there is no spare slope to work around, so the panels have to go where the roof is, and the roof has to be new enough to keep them there for their whole life.
