Whole-House Backup for a Two-Oven Kitchen in Middletown

Sean from Middletown, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since June of 2021. The generator was commissioned in January of 2022, on a whole-house transfer switch sized against an 18 kW calculation for the 2,800 square foot house. Two electric ovens, two refrigerators and a separate freezer are most of the reason for that number – an all-electric kitchen draws far more than the floor area suggests, and the cold storage has to keep running whether anybody is cooking or not. A sump pump, a washer and a gas dryer complete the load. The generator is supported by annual maintenance, an extended parts-and-labor warranty, and monitoring we manage.
