Marilyn from Monroe Township, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since April of 2022. Sixty-two Hanwha Q.PEAK DUO 360-watt panels went on the roof that June – 22.32 kW in all, estimated at 24,321 kWh in the first year. Sixty-two panels is a large residential array, and it is all-black hardware on a Snap-N-Rack rail-free system, so it sits as one dark plane on the roof rather than sixty-two separate objects catching the light differently.

Rob from Brick, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since March of 2022. Twenty-one Hanwha Q.PEAK DUO 360-watt panels went on the roof that June – 7.56 kW in all, estimated at 8,604 kWh in the first year – on a Snap-N-Rack rail-free system. These are the all-black modules, black frame and black backsheet, and at twenty-one panels the array reads as one dark rectangle of roof rather than a grid of silver lines.

Regency at Manalapan Homeowners Association in Manalapan, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since May of 2023. Twelve Hanwha Q.PEAK DUO 400-watt panels went up in January of 2024 – 4.8 kW in all, estimated at 6,252 kWh in the first year – on a Snap-N-Rack rail-free system. A community building is a good candidate for a small array: the load is steady and daytime, which is exactly when the panels are producing, so most of what the array makes is used on site rather than exported.

Walter and Cynthia from Robbinsville, NJ have been Green Sun Energy Services clients since May of 2015. Forty Trina 260-watt panels went up that November – 10.4 kW in all, estimated at 12,978 kWh in the first year. The mounting is the unusual part: an S-5! system, the clamp hardware made for standing-seam metal roofs. It grips the raised seam itself, so the array is fixed to the roof without a single hole drilled through it – and a metal roof that is never penetrated is a roof with nothing to leak around.

Cid from Union Beach, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since September of 2016. Twenty-five Hyundai 280-watt panels went up that November – 7 kW in all, estimated at 7,991 kWh in the first year – on a QuickMount rail-free system. Rail-free fastens each panel close to the roof plane instead of raising it onto a run of rails: a lower profile, fewer components on the roof, and less exposed hardware to weather, which counts for more in a bayfront town than it does inland.

Charlie and Alise from Port Monmouth, NJ have been Green Sun Energy Services clients since April of 2015. Twenty-four LG 300-watt panels went on the roof that June – 7.2 kW in all, estimated at 9,375 kWh in the first year. The array sits on a QuickMount rail-free system, which fastens each panel close to the roof plane instead of lifting it onto rails: fewer roof penetrations, a lower profile from the street, and less exposed hardware to weather in a coastal town.
