Solar Panel Installation

William & Debra from Jackson, NJ have been Green Sun Energy Services clients since March of 2015, and that July we completed a 6 kW Solar Panel Installation at their home. The system is estimated to produce around 6,800 kilowatt-hours a year, offsetting a significant share of what the household buys from the utility. A decade on it is still generating — solar panels have no moving parts, so there is nothing for them to operate or service. Edward from Farmingdale, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since November of 2016. He signed in November and our crew had the array producing by January of 2017, a 6.16 kW rooftop system sized to cover a large share of the yearly electric use at the house. The design estimate came in close to 7,957 kWh for the first year, and the system has been quietly offsetting bills ever since. Vittalraj from Scotch Plains, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since April of 2015. He signed in early April and the array was producing by the end of July, 40 Trina 255 watt panels on Enphase M215 microinverters, one per panel. At 10.2 kW it was a large system for its day, and the panel-level electronics mean a decade later that a weak module can be identified on its own rather than dragging a whole string down. Jeffrey from Parlin, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since January of 2018. He signed at the end of that January and the system was producing by late March, 44 LG 365 watt panels feeding Enphase IQ6PLUS microinverters, one per panel, so a shaded module never drags the rest of the string down. At 16.06 kW it is one of the larger residential arrays we have built, designed for roughly 16,411 kWh in its first year. Parlin is in Middlesex County, where we have been installing solar for more than a decade.

Pete from Morganville, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since August of 2015. He and Jill signed at the end of that August and the array was producing by the middle of November, 68 LG 305 watt panels on Enphase M250 microinverters, one for every panel. At 20.74 kW it is among the largest residential systems we have built, with a design estimate of 25,555 kWh in its first year, which is more than most houses use. Morganville is in Monmouth County, and a decade on this array is still one we point to.
