Kevin from Freehold, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since October of 2011. He and Luisa signed that autumn and the array went live the following March, 8.46 kW on Enphase M215 microinverters with Zep mounting and revenue-grade ANSI metering, estimated at 8,812 kWh a year. Two years later we were back to take the panels off and reset them, the job that lets a roof be replaced without writing off the system underneath it. Freehold is in Monmouth County.

Ryan from Flemington, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since April of 2015. He signed in the middle of April and the array was producing by the first of July, 24 Trina 255 watt panels on Enphase M215 microinverters, one behind each panel. At 6.12 kW it was sized to the roof rather than stretched across it, with a design estimate of 7,414 kWh a year. Flemington is in Hunterdon County, the western edge of where we work.

Gregory from Lincroft, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since September of 2011, which places him among the first customers we ever installed for. He and Karen signed that September and the array was producing by late October, 6.58 kW on Enphase M215 microinverters with Zep mounting. The design estimate was 8,235 kWh a year, and a system of that age has now been running for fifteen New Jersey winters. Lincroft is in Monmouth County.

Rhayan from Toms River, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since February of 2017. He signed at the end of February and the array was producing by the end of April, 38 Hanwha 300 watt panels on a SolarEdge inverter with an optimizer behind each module. At 11.4 kW the system was designed for about 12,152 kWh in its first year. Toms River is in Ocean County, where a 2017 array has now paid for a fair share of itself.

Carmen from Howell, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since September of 2017. He and Lorrie signed in late September and the array was producing by the middle of November, 48 SolarWorld 290 watt panels on a SolarEdge inverter, 13.92 kW rated and designed for about 14,992 kWh in its first year. SolarWorld panels are less common on New Jersey roofs than they once were, which makes a well maintained array of them worth noting. Howell is in Monmouth County.

Mohamad from Princeton, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since January of 2025, when he bought all three trades on a single day. The roof went first, a layer stripped and 6,100 square feet of Weathered Wood shingles on by the tenth of March under a 50 year warranty. A 26 kW Generac followed four days later with a 200-amp service-rated switch, surge protection and load management. New Roof and 7 kW Solar in Summit, NJ | 2,500 Sq. Ft. of Slate Shingles

Ellen from Summit, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since February of 2017. She and Mehmet bought the roof and the array together in early February. A single layer came off and 2,500 square feet of Slate shingles went on by the first of May with a 50 year warranty, and the panels followed five days later: 25 Jinko 280 watt modules on a SolarEdge inverter with optimizers and ANSI metering, 7 kW rated and estimated at 8,008 kWh a year. He and Amanda signed in late February and the array was producing by mid April, 44 LG 300 watt panels on a SolarEdge inverter with optimizers and revenue-grade ANSI metering. At 13.2 kW it was designed for roughly 15,645 kWh in its first year. Hackettstown is in Warren County, the furthest northwest we have taken a solar crew.

He signed in mid January and the array was producing by the middle of February, which is quick for a system this size: 48 LG 315 watt panels on a SolarEdge inverter with an optimizer behind each one and revenue-grade ANSI metering. At 15.12 kW it was designed for about 16,788 kWh in its first year, more than most houses draw. East Brunswick is in Middlesex County.

David from Cherry Hill, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since November of 2016. He and Jessica bought the roof and the array together at the end of November. A single layer came off and 3,600 square feet of Charcoal shingles went on in early March with a 50 year warranty. The panels followed seventeen days later, 38 all-black Hanwha modules on a SolarEdge inverter with optimizers and revenue-grade ANSI metering, 10.64 kW rated and estimated at 10,498 kWh a year.
