John from Middletown, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since August of 2020. The standby generator was commissioned in April of 2021: a 20 kW Generac Guardian on natural gas, with a 200-amp service-entrance switch outdoors beside the meter. The two sump pumps on the load survey are why the size matters at this house – heavy rain and a power cut tend to arrive together, and a sump that stops is how a basement floods – so the 3,000 square feet is carried as a whole rather than a few chosen circuits, and an annual maintenance visit keeps the machine in service. In December of 2024 we came back for something lighter, and installed the holiday lighting for the season.
