Solar and Panel Removal-Reinstallation in Spotswood, NJ | 8.4 kW Since 2014

Thomas from Spotswood, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since June of 2014. The array went up that September, 28 LG 300 watt panels on Enphase M250 microinverters, 8.4 kW rated and designed for about 8,958 kWh a year. Nine years later he called us back to take the panels off and reset them on a rail-free mounting system, which is the job that lets a roof be replaced without writing off the array on top of it. Spotswood is in Middlesex County.

Solar and Service Upgrade in Colonia, NJ | 11 kW Array and a 150-Amp Panel

Kevin from Colonia, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since March of 2014. He and Lisa signed for solar in late March, 44 Trina 250 watt panels on Enphase M215 microinverters, 11 kW rated and designed for about 13,202 kWh a year. The electrical service needed upgrading to carry it, so on the same day in August we brought the overhead service up to 150 amps and commissioned the array. Colonia is in Middlesex County.

Sue from Red Bank, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since May of 2014. She and Peter signed in early May and the array was producing by the end of July, 41 Trina 250 watt panels on Enphase M215 microinverters with Zep II mounting. At 10.25 kW it was designed for about 10,986 kWh a year, and it remains one of the larger arrays we have put on a Red Bank roof. Red Bank is in Monmouth County.

Anuj from Warren Township, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since January of 2014. He signed at the end of January and the array was producing by the middle of July, 20 Trina 250 watt panels on Enphase M215 microinverters with Zep II mounting. At 5 kW it was designed for about 6,621 kWh a year, a strong yield for the size and a sign of a roof with good exposure. Warren Township is in Somerset County.

He and Luanne signed in the middle of February and the array was producing by the sixteenth of May, 31 Trina 250 watt panels on Enphase M215 microinverters with Zep II mounting. At 7.75 kW it was designed for about 9,188 kWh a year. Iselin is in Middlesex County.

He signed in the middle of January and the array was producing by the ninth of April, 20 Trina 250 watt panels on Enphase M215 microinverters with Zep II mounting. At 5 kW it was designed for about 5,468 kWh a year. A microinverter behind each panel means one shaded module slows itself rather than the whole string. Matawan is in Monmouth County.

Generator and 9.6 kW Solar in Leonardo, NJ | Two Projects, Two Years

Odete from Leonardo, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since December of 2013. The generator came first, a 17 kW Generac on its own pad behind a 200-amp service-rated switch with two power management modules, covering 2,672 square feet with two refrigerators, a dishwasher and the laundry. Eighteen months later she came back for solar: 32 LG 300 watt panels on Enphase M250 microinverters, 9.6 kW rated and producing about 10,556 kWh a year. Leonardo is in Monmouth County.

He signed at the end of August and the array was producing by the first of February, 20 Trina 245 watt panels on Enphase M215 microinverters with Zep II mounting. At 4.9 kW it was designed for about 5,924 kWh a year, a system sized to the roof and the electricity bill rather than to whatever would fit. Marlboro is in Monmouth County.

Generator and 9 kW Solar in Hillsborough, NJ | Two Projects, Two Years

Alan from Hillsborough, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since March of 2013. He and Marcy started with backup power, a 17 kW Generac behind a service-rated switch with four load management modules, covering 3,000 square feet, a freezer, the laundry and a sump pump. The following winter they came back for solar, and by May of 2014 a 9 kW array of Trina 250 watt panels on Enphase microinverters was producing about 8,738 kWh a year. Hillsborough is in Somerset County.

Commercial Solar Installation in Passaic, NJ | 5.88 kW Array on Main Avenue

48 Main Avenue LLC in Passaic, NJ has been a Green Sun Energy Services client since February of 2013. The array went up on the building over that year and was producing by the end of September, 24 ET 245 watt panels on Enphase M215 microinverters with Zep II mounting and an SREC meter. At 5.88 kW it was designed for about 5,897 kWh a year. On a commercial roof the metering matters as much as the panels, because the SRECs are part of the return. Passaic is in Passaic County.
